Who is Eddie?
I am a queer nonbinary artist based in Melbourne. I use they/them pronouns.
I started photography in highschool and went on to study it at Murdoch uni. I have worked as a photographer both nationally and overseas, and i love to dabble in all sorts of photography genres. I have always had a desire to make a difference in the queer community, and realised i could achieve this by capturing and documenting and celebrating the love within that community.
What is Vein and Vine?
Vein and Vine is a queer couples, elopement wedding, and relationship photography studio based in Melbourne, Australia. Although i cater for everyone, my specialty is queer relationships and queer love of all kinds.
Will you put my photos on your website or social media?
Not without your explicit consent. Included with your booking is an industry standard ‘model release form’. Unless you have signed that form, your photos will not become public.
Do you travel?
Yes! I travel nationally and internationally and would love to come to you.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely. Vein and Vine offers Afterpay, but if you need the payments broken down into smaller amounts we can also work together to find something that suits you. So long as it’s completed before the day of your shoot, i’ll make it happen for you. Photography and art should be accessible to all, and i will make sure that happens for you.
do you use AI? Do you make NFTs?
No. Vein and Vine and I, Eddie Selleck will never use AI and generative engines in any of my work, nor use NFTs or crypto, or anything of that nature. My work is hand made, and the art I create for you, myself, and others is made entirely from scratch, from the ground up. Even this website has been painstakingly hand-written and designed, even with the offering of AI tools at every turn. At my core, i do not believe AI should be used in the arts, and i do not subscribe to the creation and trading of NFTs and crypto.

I don’t want my photos shot on film. Can you do the photoshoot digitally instead?
Absolutely. These are your photos, and part of what i do is making sure your relationship between partners and loved ones is captured the way you want it to be. I always make sure to ask what my clients prefer before the shoot.
